| General requirement |
Candidates, who obtained the Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any of the following subjects with not less than 55% overall average marks in the final examinations, will be considered for admission to the programme: Social sciences (Economics, Law, European Studies, International
Relations). Interested candidates, whose Bachelor's degree does not fall within
the above, should write to the programme Director.

| Competence in English |
The programme is in English. Candidates, whose last degree was not in English, must therefore, have sufficient competence in both spoken and written English. TOEFL candidatesOnly the following total paper-based TOEFL* score (or corresponding computer-based TOEFL score), or equivalent, are acceptable: Not less than 250, if test was taken before 30 June 1998. An authenticated copy of candidate's TOEFL certificate (or equivalent) must be enclosed with the application.

| Non-TOEFL candidates |
A candidate who did not take the TOEFL test, but whose competence in both written and spoken English is good, must enclose with the application a letter from his/her Head of Department (or a senior official of his/her Institute, College or organisation) certifying that the candidate's competence in both written and spoken English is sufficient for the programme. * Acronym for Test of English as a Foreign Language. |
